Color Therapy - Calm Palettes for PMDD Rest Space

    Blue-Green Lagoon

Color therapy doesn't get the attention it deserves, but it's one of our favorite topics around here.

Did you know, the flow of colors throughout the room can impact your mood?

Blues and greens along with earth tones can have a positive impact on your well being.

    Why cool greens/blues help

They lean the nervous system toward “exhale” mode and reduce visual noise - especially in matte finishes and soft contrasts. Teal is really in a leage of its own.

Four calm palettes (3 colors each)

    • Tidepool: deep teal • seafoam • soft white

    Tidepool Palette

    • Coastal Fog: blue-gray • oyster • pebble

    Coastal Fog Palette

    • Driftwood Calm: greige • warm sand • driftwood

    Driftwood Calm Palette

    • Cove Quiet: gray-teal • mist • bone

    Cove Quiet Palette

Where to use: bedroom, reading corner, desk backdrop, bathroom vanity. Keep hardware soft (brushed brass/black/vintaged).

    FAQs

Won’t dark teal make it moody?
Use it on one piece + light walls; matte finish calms glare. Sometimes moody can be cozy.
    Mix palettes?
Limit to 3 colors per space for calm, but feel free to add a splash of your favorite shade throughout the room for a little dopamine boost.
