Let me teach you how to get this driftwood finish, on just about anything. 

1. After cleaning the furniture or item to remove dust and grime, paint a thin coat of Weathered Gray or another gray-based SeaPaint shade.

Let dry 5 minutes.

2. Brush on a coat of Weathered White or another white shade of SeaPaint.

Let dry for 5 minutes.

It should be dry before proceeding.

3. Rub various areas with the weathering sponge or a fine sand paper to pull the shades underneath back through.

I tend to concentrate on the raised edges, corners etc for more realistic weathered look. 

4. Wipe or vacuum off the dust.

5. Use a soft damp cloth or brush to add the colorful touches. 

Let dry two minutes

Rub the colorful areas lightly with a weathering sponge to create the colorful softly worn finish that you see in the video.
